Consciously created, The Canterbury Collection features hand-built functional and decorative ceramics with an antique textural feel and look. A smooth, buff-colored, glazed interior contrasts with a rough, stone-like exterior decorated with fragments of blue floral antique wallpaper and vintage images of farm animals. Inspired by the simple, pure aesthetic of my neighbors at Canterbury Shaker Village, this original work highlights an intuitive way of working. Each piece is individually created by hand, and as such each will have subtle variations in shape, colors and size.
